Auction result well in line with expectations
In October this year China Guardian held the auction Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art, which included the work Le Champ De Placy(Painted In 1997) by Hugues Claude Pissarro. It changed hands for a price of HKD 72,000.00 (€ 8,707.04) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 45,000.00 – 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hugues Claude Pissarro - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Un Dimanche À La Roseraie 'Jean Grave' (Pont De L'Arche Alizay), which sold at auction in April 2021 for GBP 30,240.00 (€ 34,784.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte China Guardian die Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Le Champ De Placy(Painted In 1997) von Hugues Claude Pissarro zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 72.000,00 (€ 8.707,04) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 45.000,00 – 80.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Hugues Claude Pissarro mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Un Dimanche À La Roseraie 'Jean Grave' (Pont De L'Arche Alizay) beobachtet, die im April 2021 für GBP 30.240,00 (€ 34.784,80) versteigert wurde.
