In the Alte Kunst auction, the work Tiroler Bauernpaar. sold for EUR 3,612.00 - well above the estimate of EUR 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hugo Kauffmann achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Musicians in October 2005 with an auction result of USD 74,400.00 (€ 62,025.84).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Hugo Kauffmann erzielte im Mai 2013 bei VAN HAM einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Alte Kunst wurde die Arbeit Tiroler Bauernpaar. für EUR 3.612,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hugo Kauffmann erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Musicians im Oktober 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 74.400,00 (€ 62.025,84).
