Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A view of the park at Ermenonville with the tomb of Jean-Jacques Rousseau and the Temple de la Philosophie by Hubert Robert was auctioned at Christies in London in May this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 150,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 163,800.00 (€ 153,745.07). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hubert Robert achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Colonnade Et Jardins du Palais Médici: Gentlemen Sketching In An Italianate Garden; And Restes du Palais du Pape Jules: An Architectural Capriccio With Haymakers in July 2006 with an auction result of GBP 3,368,000.00 (€ 4,930,357.25).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A view of the park at Ermenonville with the tomb of Jean-Jacques Rousseau and the Temple de la Philosophie von Hubert Robert kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Christies in London zur Auktion.
