Upper estimate price exceeded by 92 %.
This artwork by Huang Junbi achieved an unexpectedly high price at POLY in January 2024. In the Collections of paintings preserved by overseas collectors IV auction, the work Scholar Viewing The Waterfall sold for HKD 57,600.00 (€ 8,849.92) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Huang Junbi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lofty Mountains Amidst Clouds in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 5,020,000.00 (€ 552,510.30).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 92 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Huang Junbi erzielte im Januar 2024 bei POLY einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Collections of paintings preserved by overseas collectors IV wurde die Arbeit Scholar Viewing The Waterfall für HKD 57.600,00 (€ 8.849,92) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Huang Junbi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lofty Mountains Amidst Clouds im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.020.000,00 (€ 552.510,30).
