Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Plum Blossom and Narcissus by Hu Gongshou was auctioned at POLY in October 2019. It changed hands for a price of HKD 59,000.00 (€ 6,743.61) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hu Gongshou have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Journey Into The Mountains in October 2015 with an auction result of HKD 437,500.00 (€ 51,111.66).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Plum Blossom and Narcissus von Hu Gongshou kam im Oktober 2019 bei POLY zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 59.000,00 (€ 6.743,61) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hu Gongshou auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Journey Into The Mountains im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 437.500,00 (€ 51.111,66).
