The work House In The Forest by Xiao Rusong was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2014. The result of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 10,295.29) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xiao Rusong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life by The Window in May 2018 with an auction result of HKD 1,375,000.00 (€ 150,224.94).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit House In The Forest von Xiao Rusong kam im Oktober 2014 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 10.295,29) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xiao Rusong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Still Life by The Window im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.375.000,00 (€ 150.224,94).
