Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tree by Xiao Rusong was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2005. The price achieved of HKD 168,000.00 (€ 18,381.68) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 140,000.00 – 200,000.00. Admittedly, works by Xiao Rusong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still Life by The Window in May 2018 with an auction result of HKD 1,375,000.00 (€ 150,224.94).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Tree von Xiao Rusong kam im November 2005 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 168.000,00 (€ 18.381,68) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 140.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Xiao Rusong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Still Life by The Window im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.375.000,00 (€ 150.224,94).
