Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Night Market by Xiao Rusong was sold in the 20th Century Chinese Art auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2005. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 260,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 264,000.00 (€ 28,885.50). Admittedly, works by Xiao Rusong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still Life by The Window in May 2018 with an auction result of HKD 1,375,000.00 (€ 150,224.94).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Night Market von Xiao Rusong wurde im November 2005 in der Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 260.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 264.000,00 (€ 28.885,50) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Xiao Rusong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Still Life by The Window im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.375.000,00 (€ 150.224,94).
