Auction result misses estimated price range
In August this year a collector was able to acquire the work Five compositions by Horst Janssen for DKK 1,350.00 (€ 181.10). This price was achieved in the auction Modern art and design at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Horst Janssen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work „Im Jahre der Selbstüberschätzung zu Paranoia“. in November 2015 with an auction result of EUR 37,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im August diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Five compositions von Horst Janssen für DKK 1.350,00 (€ 181,10) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Horst Janssen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit „Im Jahre der Selbstüberschätzung zu Paranoia“. im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 37.500,00.
