In the Old Master and British Drawings and Watercolours auction, the work Study female nude, seated, one leg raised, and a head study of a man, his mouth open (recto); Head study of a man, seen from above (verso) sold for GBP 10,710.00 (€ 12,495.32) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Honoré Daumier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les Avocats — Le Parquet Des Avocats in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 2,629,000.00 (€ 2,024,176.16).
