Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Herbert List achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in June 2021. In the The Male Form auction, the work without title sold for GBP 3,187.00 (€ 3,713.68) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Herbert List have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Goldfish Bowl' in November 2015 with an auction result of EUR 25,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Herbert List erzielte im Juni 2021 bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Male Form wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 3.187,00 (€ 3.713,68) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Herbert List auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Goldfish Bowl' im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 25.000,00.
