Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Komposition Quer by Henryk Stazewski was sold in the Contemporary Art 2 — « Lumières et Géométries » auction at Artcurial in June 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 1,800.00 – 2,200.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 1,819.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henryk Stazewski achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in October last year with an auction result of SEK 1,350,000.00 (€ 123,530.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Komposition Quer von Henryk Stazewski wurde im Juni 2013 in der Auktion Contemporary Art 2 — « Lumières et Géométries » bei Artcurial versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.800,00 – 2.200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 1.819,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henryk Stazewski erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 1.350.000,00 (€ 123.530,30).
