Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2005 a collector was able to acquire the work Children Filling A Water Wagon, Traditionally Identified As A Lane Near Sevenoaks by Henry John Boddington for GBP 4,800.00 (€ 7,113.90). This price was achieved in the auction British Pictures 1500-1850 at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Henry John Boddington have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work An English lane in May 2000 with an auction result of USD 64,625.00 (€ 69,280.66).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2005 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Children Filling A Water Wagon, Traditionally Identified As A Lane Near Sevenoaks von Henry John Boddington für GBP 4.800,00 (€ 7.113,90) erwerben.
