Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2014 Sothebys in London held the auction 19th Century European Paintings, which included the work Dutch The Proud Mother by Henriëtte Ronner-Knip. The price achieved of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 10,459.57) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henriëtte Ronner-Knip achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Kittens At Play in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 342,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2014 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 19th Century European Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dutch The Proud Mother von Henriëtte Ronner-Knip zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 10.459,57) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henriëtte Ronner-Knip erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Kittens At Play im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 342.400,00.
