Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A mother with her playful kittens watched over by a terrier by Henriëtte Ronner-Knip was sold in the 19th Century European & Orientalist Art auction at Christies in London in December 2016. The price achieved of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 29,229.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henriëtte Ronner-Knip achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Kittens At Play in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 342,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A mother with her playful kittens watched over by a terrier von Henriëtte Ronner-Knip wurde im Dezember 2016 in der Auktion 19th Century European & Orientalist Art bei Christies in London versteigert.
