This artwork by Henri Duvieux achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in May 2012. In the 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist Art auction, the work Turks waiting at a quay on the Bosphourus, Istanbul sold for GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,983.82) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Henri Duvieux - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Istanbul, which sold at auction in June 2013 for EUR 15,588.00.

In der Auktion 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist Art wurde die Arbeit Turks waiting at a quay on the Bosphourus, Istanbul für GBP 4.000,00 (€ 4.983,82) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 2.200,00.
