Auction result well in line with expectations
In June this year Bruun Rasmussen held the auction Paintings, furniture and varia, which included the work A heath with a woman and her two children by Hans Smidth. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of DKK 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of DKK 4,200.00 (€ 563.85) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hans Smidth achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Scenery from an old fisherman's house on Fur in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 8,000.00 (€ 6,991.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Bruun Rasmussen die Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia durch, in der auch die Arbeit A heath with a woman and her two children von Hans Smidth zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von DKK 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von DKK 4.200,00 (€ 563,85) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hans Smidth erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Scenery from an old fisherman's house on Fur im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 8.000,00 (€ 6.991,78).
