Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2010 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Southeast Asian Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Tuturkarena Series: Mingkem (Tight Lips) by Handiwirman Saputra. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 800,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 836,000.00 (€ 82,599.57). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Handiwirman Saputra - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Akhir Pekan Dan Projek Organik Dari Tak Berakar Tak Berpucuk #3 (Weekend And Organic Projects From No Roots No Shoots #3), which sold at auction in October 2020 for HKD 2,520,000.00 (€ 279,110.50).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2010 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Southeast Asian Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tuturkarena Series: Mingkem (Tight Lips) von Handiwirman Saputra zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 800.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 836.000,00 (€ 82.599,57) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Handiwirman Saputra mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Akhir Pekan Dan Projek Organik Dari Tak Berakar Tak Berpucuk #3 (Weekend And Organic Projects From No Roots No Shoots #3) beobachtet, die im Oktober 2020 für HKD 2.520.000,00 (€ 279.110,50) versteigert wurde.
