The work Segumpal Tanah, Selembar Plastik: Skala (A Handful of Earth, a Sheet of Plastic: Scale) by Handiwirman Saputra was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2012. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 500,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 560,000.00 (€ 58,337.11). Admittedly, works by Handiwirman Saputra have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Akhir Pekan Dan Projek Organik Dari Tak Berakar Tak Berpucuk #3 (Weekend And Organic Projects From No Roots No Shoots #3) in October 2020 with an auction result of HKD 2,520,000.00 (€ 279,110.50).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Segumpal Tanah, Selembar Plastik: Skala (A Handful of Earth, a Sheet of Plastic: Scale) von Handiwirman Saputra wurde im Mai 2012 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 500.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 560.000,00 (€ 58.337,11) einen neuen Besitzer.
