In the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings auction, the work Segumpal Tanah, Secuil Kapas: Skala (A Lump Of Soil, A Shred Of Cotton: Scale) sold for HKD 980,000.00 (€ 90,988.92) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 550,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Handiwirman Saputra - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Akhir Pekan Dan Projek Organik Dari Tak Berakar Tak Berpucuk #3 (Weekend And Organic Projects From No Roots No Shoots #3), which sold at auction in October 2020 for HKD 2,520,000.00 (€ 279,110.50).
