This artwork by Handiwirman Saputra achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2010. In the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings auction, the work Segumpal Tanah, Secuil Kapas: Skala (A Lump Of Soil, A Shred Of Cotton: Scale) sold for HKD 980,000.00 (€ 90,988.92) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 550,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Handiwirman Saputra - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Akhir Pekan Dan Projek Organik Dari Tak Berakar Tak Berpucuk #3 (Weekend And Organic Projects From No Roots No Shoots #3), which sold at auction in October 2020 for HKD 2,520,000.00 (€ 279,110.50).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Handiwirman Saputra erzielte im Oktober 2010 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings wurde die Arbeit Segumpal Tanah, Secuil Kapas: Skala (A Lump Of Soil, A Shred Of Cotton: Scale) für HKD 980.000,00 (€ 90.988,92) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 550.000,00.
