Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Membayang (Imagining) by Handiwirman Saputra was sold in the Southeast Asian Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2010. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 1,200,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 1,220,000.00 (€ 120,540.04). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Handiwirman Saputra - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Akhir Pekan Dan Projek Organik Dari Tak Berakar Tak Berpucuk #3 (Weekend And Organic Projects From No Roots No Shoots #3), which sold at auction in October 2020 for HKD 2,520,000.00 (€ 279,110.50).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Membayang (Imagining) von Handiwirman Saputra wurde im November 2010 in der Auktion Southeast Asian Modern and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 1.200.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 1.220.000,00 (€ 120.540,04) einen neuen Besitzer.
