Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2016 Christies in New York held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Mother And Child/ Pandas by Han Meilin. Here, the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 13,750.00 (€ 12,071.99). Admittedly, works by Han Meilin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Rooster in April this year with an auction result of HKD 74,400.00 (€ 75,976.96).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2016 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mother And Child/ Pandas von Han Meilin zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 13.750,00 (€ 12.071,99) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Han Meilin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Rooster im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 74.400,00 (€ 75.976,96).
