Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2021 Phillips in London held the auction Out of the Blue: The Enea Righi Collection, which included the work Untitled (Moroccan hats, head forms) by Haim Steinbach. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 32,760.00 (€ 37,683.53). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Haim Steinbach - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Security And Serenity #1, which sold at auction in September 2015 for GBP 93,700.00 (€ 126,892.06).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2021 führte Phillips in London die Auktion Out of the Blue: The Enea Righi Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Moroccan hats, head forms) von Haim Steinbach zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 32.760,00 (€ 37.683,53) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Haim Steinbach mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Security And Serenity #1 beobachtet, die im September 2015 für GBP 93.700,00 (€ 126.892,06) versteigert wurde.
