It achieved a price of GBP 6,120.00 (€ 7,120.70), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 22%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gwen John achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Convalescent in July 2013 with an auction result of GBP 200,500.00 (€ 229,106.20).
