Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Nel Parco by Gustavo Simoni was auctioned at Sothebys in Milan in December 2008, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gustavo Simoni achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Gate Of The Sidi Boumediene Mosque, Tlemcen in April 2020 with an auction result of GBP 118,750.00 (€ 136,603.15).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Nel Parco von Gustavo Simoni im Dezember 2008 bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 3.000,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gustavo Simoni erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Gate Of The Sidi Boumediene Mosque, Tlemcen im April 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 118.750,00 (€ 136.603,15).
