Auction result well in line with expectations
The work At The Tavern by Gustavo Simoni was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in January 2011. The price achieved of USD 8,750.00 (€ 6,379.88) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gustavo Simoni achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Gate Of The Sidi Boumediene Mosque, Tlemcen in April 2020 with an auction result of GBP 118,750.00 (€ 136,603.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit At The Tavern von Gustavo Simoni kam im Januar 2011 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 8.750,00 (€ 6.379,88) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gustavo Simoni erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Gate Of The Sidi Boumediene Mosque, Tlemcen im April 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 118.750,00 (€ 136.603,15).
