Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sail Again by Guan Shanyue was auctioned at POLY in May this year. The price achieved of HKD 20,400.00 (€ 2,445.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 15,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Guan Shanyue achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sketching in the Qilian Mountains in May 2013 with an auction result of HKD 9,390,000.00 (€ 931,191.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sail Again von Guan Shanyue kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei POLY zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 20.400,00 (€ 2.445,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 15.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Guan Shanyue erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sketching in the Qilian Mountains im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 9.390.000,00 (€ 931.191,87).
