Auction result well in line with expectations
In February last year VAN HAM held the auction Prints and Multiples | ONLINE ONLY, which included the work Konvolut von 2 Lithografien. by Graham Sutherland. The price achieved of EUR 528.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Graham Sutherland achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Crucifixion in June 2011 with an auction result of GBP 713,250.00 (€ 789,078.55).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar letzten Jahres führte VAN HAM die Auktion Prints and Multiples | ONLINE ONLY durch, in der auch die Arbeit Konvolut von 2 Lithografien. von Graham Sutherland zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 528,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Graham Sutherland erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Crucifixion im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 713.250,00 (€ 789.078,55).
