This artwork by Giuseppe Biasi detto Biasi da Teulada achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Milan in June 2007. In the 19th Century Paintings and Sculpture auction, the work Giovinetto sold for EUR 16,800.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 6,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Giuseppe Biasi detto Biasi da Teulada; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Melodie sold at auction in May 2018 with the realized price of EUR 33,000.00.
