The price achieved of USD 93,750.00 (€ 84,088.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Giuseppe Bernardino Bison - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work View Of The Grand Canal From The Palazzo Grimani, which sold at auction in January 2011 for USD 410,500.00 (€ 299,307.33).
