The work The Holy Family by Giuseppe Bernardino Bison was sold in the From Taddeo to Tiepolo: The Dr. John O’Brien Collection of Old Master Drawings auction at Sothebys in New York in January 2021. The price achieved of USD 2,268.00 (€ 1,868.97) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giuseppe Bernardino Bison achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work View Of The Grand Canal From The Palazzo Grimani in January 2011 with an auction result of USD 410,500.00 (€ 299,307.33).
