Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Contra. Wohl 1919. by Giovanni Giacometti was sold in the Schweizer Kunst auction at Koller in December last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of CHF 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of CHF 11,250.00 (€ 11,379.35) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giovanni Giacometti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Panorama von Flims. 1904. in June 2016 with an auction result of CHF 4,045,500.00 (€ 3,744,801.12).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Contra. Wohl 1919. von Giovanni Giacometti wurde im Dezember letzten Jahres in der Auktion Schweizer Kunst bei Koller versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von CHF 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von CHF 11.250,00 (€ 11.379,35) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giovanni Giacometti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Panorama von Flims. 1904. im Juni 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 4.045.500,00 (€ 3.744.801,12).
