Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Il tempo piovoso, 1956 by Gino Romiti was sold in the ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO auction at Christies in Rome in December 2001. It achieved a price of ITL 4,655,000.00 (€ 4,183.80), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 16%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gino Romiti - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Paesaggio Con Carretto E Buoi, which sold at auction in June 2007 for EUR 13,200.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Il tempo piovoso, 1956 von Gino Romiti wurde im Dezember 2001 in der Auktion ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO bei Christies in Rom versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von ITL 4.655.000,00 (€ 4.183,80) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 16%. Für andere Arbeiten von Gino Romiti mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Paesaggio Con Carretto E Buoi beobachtet, die im Juni 2007 für EUR 13.200,00 versteigert wurde.
