Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2014 Christies in London held the auction Eyes Wide Open: An Italian Vision, which included the work Spazio Elastico (2 Cubi) by Gianni Colombo. The price achieved of GBP 62,500.00 (€ 75,827.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gianni Colombo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Strutturazione pulsante in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 314,500.00 (€ 439,906.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2014 führte Christies in London die Auktion Eyes Wide Open: An Italian Vision durch, in der auch die Arbeit Spazio Elastico (2 Cubi) von Gianni Colombo zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 62.500,00 (€ 75.827,54) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gianni Colombo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Strutturazione pulsante im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 314.500,00 (€ 439.906,95).
