In May 2008 Sothebys in Milan held the auction Modern & Contemporary Art, which included the work Scala by Gianfranco Pardi. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 15,850.00 32% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gianfranco Pardi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Giardino pensile, which sold at auction in April 2017 for EUR 49,836.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 32 % übertroffen
Im Mai 2008 führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Scala von Gianfranco Pardi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 15.850,00 und damit 32% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Gianfranco Pardi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Giardino pensile beobachtet, die im April 2017 für EUR 49.836,00 versteigert wurde.
