Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2020 Christies in Milan held the auction Thinking Italian Milan, which included the work Velocità Astratta n. 2 by Giacomo Balla. It changed hands for a price of EUR 115,000.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giacomo Balla achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Automobile In Corsa in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 11,477,000.00 (€ 8,435,249.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2020 führte Christies in Mailand die Auktion Thinking Italian Milan durch, in der auch die Arbeit Velocità Astratta n. 2 von Giacomo Balla zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 115.000,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 80.000,00 – 120.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giacomo Balla erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Automobile In Corsa im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 11.477.000,00 (€ 8.435.249,15).
