This artwork by Giacomo Balla achieved an unexpectedly high price at Il Ponte in May last year. In the Arte moderna e contemporanea auction, the work Motivo decorativo floreale sold for EUR 30,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giacomo Balla achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Automobile In Corsa in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 11,477,000.00 (€ 8,435,249.15).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Giacomo Balla erzielte im Mai letzten Jahres bei Il Ponte einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Arte moderna e contemporanea wurde die Arbeit Motivo decorativo floreale für EUR 30.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giacomo Balla erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Automobile In Corsa im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 11.477.000,00 (€ 8.435.249,15).
