Auction result fails to reach estimate
In October this year a collector was able to acquire the work 15 postcards and one menucard by Gerda Wegener for DKK 2,600.00 (€ 348.37). This price was achieved in the auction Modern art and design at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 3,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gerda Wegener achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les Femmes Fatales in July 2019 with an auction result of GBP 75,000.00 (€ 82,345.01).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im Oktober diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit 15 postcards and one menucard von Gerda Wegener für DKK 2.600,00 (€ 348,37) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gerda Wegener erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les Femmes Fatales im Juli 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 75.000,00 (€ 82.345,01).
