Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of EUR 8,674.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gérard Fromanger have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le Peintre Et Le Modele : Vert Veronese - 1972 in November 2017 with an auction result of EUR 80,000.00.

Die Arbeit Spendeurs, Isabelle S., Aout 1976 von Gérard Fromanger kam im Oktober 2007 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 8.674,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 7.000,00 – 9.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gérard Fromanger auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le Peintre Et Le Modele : Vert Veronese - 1972 im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 80.000,00.
