Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Effigie Palimpseste by Georges Noël was sold in the The 20th Century Art Online Sale auction at Christies in Paris in April 2021. The price achieved of EUR 8,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Georges Noël have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Effigie Palimpseste D'Or Sur Vert - 1962 in June last year with an auction result of EUR 65,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Effigie Palimpseste von Georges Noël wurde im April 2021 in der Auktion The 20th Century Art Online Sale bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 8.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Georges Noël auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Effigie Palimpseste D'Or Sur Vert - 1962 im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 65.600,00.
