Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Scène Mythologique by Georgy Artemov was auctioned at Christies in Paris in June 2006. It achieved a price of EUR 42,000.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Georgy Artemov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Reclining nude, which sold at auction in November 2011 for GBP 121,250.00 (€ 141,546.96).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Scène Mythologique von Georgy Artemov kam im Juni 2006 bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 42.000,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Georgy Artemov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Reclining nude beobachtet, die im November 2011 für GBP 121.250,00 (€ 141.546,96) versteigert wurde.
