In the The Lyndon Goodwin Harris Collection of Watercolours by Albert Goodwin, Joseph Edward Southall & Other Artists auction, the work Droving goats through a classical landscape sold for GBP 660.00 (€ 995.79) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 250.00. Admittedly, works by George Barret the Younger have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Solitude: An Italianate Landscape With A Figure Reclining Beneath Trees in July 2017 with an auction result of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 6,695.08).
