Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2024 a collector was able to acquire the work A winterlandscape with a man and dog near Egebæksvang by Georg Emil Libert for DKK 3,200.00 (€ 2,796.71). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Georg Emil Libert - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Moonlight at a rocky coast, which sold at auction in January 2024 for DKK 7,000.00 (€ 6,117.81).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar 2024 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A winterlandscape with a man and dog near Egebæksvang von Georg Emil Libert für DKK 3.200,00 (€ 2.796,71) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Georg Emil Libert mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Moonlight at a rocky coast beobachtet, die im Januar 2024 für DKK 7.000,00 (€ 6.117,81) versteigert wurde.
