Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Paradise Flycatcher on Pine Tree by Gao Qifeng was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2021. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 1,600,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 1,638,000.00 (€ 182,204.81). Admittedly, works by Gao Qifeng have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Roaring Lion in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 15,640,000.00 (€ 1,454,621.49).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Paradise Flycatcher on Pine Tree von Gao Qifeng wurde im Oktober 2021 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 1.600.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 1.638.000,00 (€ 182.204,81) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gao Qifeng auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Roaring Lion im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 15.640.000,00 (€ 1.454.621,49).
