Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bamboo And Rock by Gao Qifeng was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2021. The price achieved of HKD 403,200.00 (€ 43,168.88) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 350,000.00 – 500,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gao Qifeng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Roaring Lion in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 15,640,000.00 (€ 1,454,621.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Bamboo And Rock von Gao Qifeng wurde im April 2021 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 403.200,00 (€ 43.168,88) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 350.000,00 – 500.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gao Qifeng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Roaring Lion im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 15.640.000,00 (€ 1.454.621,49).
