Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Roaring Tiger by Gao Qifeng was auctioned at Bonhams in Hong Kong in March last year. The price achieved of HKD 44,625.00 (€ 5,137.12) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 35,000.00 – 55,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gao Qifeng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Roaring Lion in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 15,640,000.00 (€ 1,454,621.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A Roaring Tiger von Gao Qifeng kam im März letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 44.625,00 (€ 5.137,12) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 35.000,00 – 55.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gao Qifeng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Roaring Lion im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 15.640.000,00 (€ 1.454.621,49).
