In January 2024 Bruun Rasmussen held the auction Paintings, furniture and varia, which included the work Winter landscape with pollarded trees by Fritz Syberg. The result of DKK 8,000.00 (€ 6,991.78) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of DKK 8,000.00 – 10,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fritz Syberg - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work “Landskab - Uroligt vejr i Juli”, which sold at auction in March this year for DKK 140,000.00 (€ 18,787.71).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Januar 2024 führte Bruun Rasmussen die Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia durch, in der auch die Arbeit Winter landscape with pollarded trees von Fritz Syberg zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von DKK 8.000,00 (€ 6.991,78) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 8.000,00 – 10.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Fritz Syberg mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit “Landskab - Uroligt vejr i Juli” beobachtet, die im März diesen Jahres für DKK 140.000,00 (€ 18.787,71) versteigert wurde.
