The result of DKK 6,000.00 (€ 804.73) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of DKK 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fritz Syberg achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work “Landskab - Uroligt vejr i Juli” in March this year with an auction result of DKK 140,000.00 (€ 18,787.71).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Seascape with sailing ships in a gathering storm von Fritz Syberg wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion The Funen painters bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von DKK 6.000,00 (€ 804,73) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fritz Syberg erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit “Landskab - Uroligt vejr i Juli” im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 140.000,00 (€ 18.787,71).
