It achieved a price of USD 1,216.00 (€ 1,121.87), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 52%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fritz Scholder achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Dartmouth Portrait #8," 1973 in August last year with an auction result of USD 378,375.00 (€ 375,931.45).

Die Arbeit Film Indian von Fritz Scholder kam im August diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 1.216,00 (€ 1.121,87) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 52%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fritz Scholder erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Dartmouth Portrait #8," 1973 im August letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 378.375,00 (€ 375.931,45).
