The result of EUR 4,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frits van den Berghe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bloemen over de stad (Fleurs sur la ville) in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 241,250.00 (€ 304,948.09).

Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Frits van den Berghe erzielen.
